Scrub for AI
Hide the personal details in a piece of text before you paste it into an AI chatbot, then put them back into the answer.
What it does
- Swaps emails, phone numbers, card numbers, web links, IP addresses and long ID numbers for placeholders such as [EMAIL_1].
- Hides any names or words you list.
- After the AI answers, paste the answer in and the real details are put back.
Your data
Everything happens in your browser. Your text, and the list of what was hidden, are never sent anywhere and are forgotten when you close the window.
Take care
It finds patterns. It cannot recognise a name or an address by itself, so list those, and read the result before you paste it.
